Short- & long-term rental in Ghent, Belgium
The rental rate is €1.220 per month (ALL-IN prices) of which the initial stay is paid by the visitor(s) in cash or bank transfer, before the day of arrival. The lease of the following months (if applicable) are paid every first day of the month.
The ALL-IN lease includes:
- Lease of the property (apartment 203, parking 4 & storage 6)
- Heating / water / electricity (maximum of €100/month)
- High-speed internet / WiFi (maximum of 300 GB download volume/month)
- Cable TV (TV on demand needs to be payed)
- Fire insurance
- Maintenance of the common parts
- Ghent city tourist tax (€3 per person per night)

Guarantee for damage
The Lessee(s) commit(s) to pay, upon arrival, a security deposit in cash or via bank transfer, before or on the day of arrival, for damages in the amount of 1 month rent which is returned upon check-out if no damage has occurred in accordance with the General Regulations and after validation of the Inventory.
Reservations are made through our website (www.ghent-apartment.be), phone (+32 476 31 75 60) or e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org). After making the payment, you will receive an e-mail with confirmation and information regarding your check-in & stay. No changes or cancellations will be accepted unless they have been confirmed by e-mail.
The following conditions apply:
- Cancellation 30 days before arrival: no cost
- Cancellation 30 till 14 days before arrival: 50% cost
- Cancellation 14 days before arrival: 100% cost
Payment of the first month shall be made in cash or via bank transfer before the arrival day. Payment of the guarantee for covering any damage, shall be made in in cash or via bank transfer before or on the arrival day. Only after this payment is made will it be possible to check in.

Guarantee for damage
An amount of 1 month rent shall be paid when checking in as guarantee against possible damages caused during the stay, and which shall be considered as the guest’s responsibility. Such amount shall be returned after verification has shown that there are no damages. As such, we recommend that you reserve at least 30 minutes prior to leaving so that such verification can be carried out; otherwise, the amount of the guarantee cannot be returned.
The maximum number of guests is 2 persons.
Parents or guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children.
Animals are not allowed. Admission shall be denied or terminated if this condition is not met.
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment nor the entire building. Admission shall be denied or terminated if this condition is not met. In the event of damage caused by cigarette burns, the damaged item’s replacement value will be charged.
Garbage should be separated and disposed in the correct bag (official Ghent yellow or blue IVAGO bags) & the appropriate container. The containers are located outside the building in the garbage area, adjacent to the outdoor parking lot. It is not allowed to store garbage in the apartment, on the terrace of the apartment, in the storage room or in the underground parking.
Please respect the fact that the apartment is surrounded by other apartments. The guest(s) may be prevented from remaining on the premises if this condition is not met.
Since there’s no reception, check-in time must be arranged by phone or via e-mail at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. We will be awaiting your arrival at the agreed time, to hand over the keys, and to explain how the apartment and its appliances generally work.
The apartment is cleansed prior to your arrival. We guarantee that the apartment is in perfect condition upon the guests’ arrival, namely, that the beds have been made with fresh sheets, clean face and body towels have been placed in the bathroom, and that the kitchen, bathrooms and other areas have been cleansed.
The communal parts of the apartment are normally cleaned on a weekly basis.
We will not be held responsible for any damage directly or indirectly caused to the apartment by the guest(s). Any damage to the apartment or to the contents thereof must be immediately notified, so that such damage may be repaired or the damaged items replaced. Depending on the circumstances, costs may or may not be charged to the guest.
When vacating the apartment, make sure the dishwasher, washing machine and refrigerator are all empty. Please leave the apartment as you would like to find it, and respect the privacy and premises of other inhabitants.
